Happy Birthday Kate!

Lily decided to pick a flower for your birthday present and sends lots of hugs and kisses to you on your first birthday as an Aunt and your last birthday as a mother of two.

Baby Meyer at 40 weeks

Ultrasound this morning and here's the baby's face. We still can't wait to see this baby's lips as soon as he/she makes their appearance because this picture shows very big lips.
We'll send an e-mail after our 3:30pm doctor appointment to let everyone know the scoop.

39 Weeks

Just posting an update on Kate. Thirty-nine weeks starting today and it's still hard to believe. Also some pictures of the room downstairs, before and after. Thanks for your hard work Dad.

35 1/2 week belly

This is Kate with no make-up and a 35 1/2 week pregnant belly. We have a Dr. appointment tomorrow and will let everyone know how it goes.

New Toy

He's really enjoying it and his name is actually still on it. He's in need of a haircut, that's why his paws look like a bear's. Thanks again, Chris and Jane.

Latest pictures of Kate (almost 31 weeks pregnant) and Gizmo (already gave birth to 6 plastic balls that he protects very well).

Tulips

Just wanted to post some pictures of the tulips Mom got us last year. Out of the 40 bulbs it looks like at least 10 have started to open up for the sun and rain. We'll plant them in the ground in the fall.

Sage Room

The paint in the room is Sage Tint, but in the picture it looks white. It's really a light greenish.

It only took about 1.5 years, but we think we picked a good one.
2007 Toyota Highlander, from Bristol, Tenn.
Now we get to see what life is like with 2 vehicles, or at least until the Elantra really does explode.
Kate and I took turns driving it back from the dealer and it's great so far.
We still don't know what Gizmo will think of all the extra room in the back, so we'll see.

Turning the Big 03

Today was Gizmo's last birthday as an only child. As the three amigos slowly grows into 4, Gizmo reports that he is looking forward to 2 things: (1)eating whatever the baby drops on the floor and (2) licking the baby's face. To celebrate his monumental achievement to becoming 3 years old, we are planning on relocating his cage so he stops stinking up the baby's room.

Week 21

Here are the latest pics of the baby formerly known as the Gummi Bear. Hopefully everyone can locate the head in each of the pictures. The one at the top looks like he/she is looking up into the sky on the right side of the picture. The one on the bottom has her/him staring us down and waving their right hand as if to say, "Yes, I'm smiling in this picture".

Like Kate said, she's feeling well and this Friday will be her last day at work. As for me, Kate counted 22 gray hairs on my noggin' the other day. I'm on my way to being distinguished.

Cameron and Oliver have found an interest again in music. Hey Meyer Uncles - They are getting ready to jam! Oliver favors the guitar, while Cameron sings lead vocals. Did I mention she is writing her own songs?



Oliver has also taken a liking to a new hair-do...

After welcoming the new year with our own marching band, we were all asleep before the clock struck 12. Hope the year has started off fantastic for all and continues with health, laughter, family and fun!
